Very great stay with lots of beautiful views. This resort offers free, barbecue grill, propane, tables, swing, volleyball, net, playground and even the water boat activities. It was very fresh and beautiful. The staff are friendly and easy to reach. Every activity was walking distance. my only complaint was the cabin had no AC it did get really hot at night however you can open the windows. We just didn’t feel comfortable not knowing the area. also about three houses down there is a cemetery.
Lovely location. Owners are very thoughtful in leaving a bin with folding / travel camping chairs for guests to use. The staff was very accommodating and responsive. While internet was very spotty, I wasn't at a lovely cabin for that amenity. I was able to place an order and get WalMart groceries delivered to our cabin which was a great convenience. The cabin kitchen was well stocked with cooking / dining gear - everything we needed. I appreciated how clean everything was, as well as the quality of bathroom TP and soaps. I look forward to our next visit.
My family and I spent 5 days here and we loved it. Cabins are clean and cozy. 10 minutes from the city. Nice big shady trees. Lake was convenient for fishing every day we were there. Even in the cold windy weather. Staff was very friendly, and helpful when needed. We had to call the staff because the furniss/heater wasnt working, it was the last night spending there around 11pm, and someone drove 40 minutes out to help us. We will definitely be coming back. This is the best stay we have had hands down. Thank you Lazy Oaks For the lasting memories my family will have.
We have made two trips to the Pinetop-Lakeside area and stayed at Lazy Oaks. Great place to put out the kayaks on Rainbow Lake and enjoy a relaxing day on the water. The cabins are well maintained and updated as needed. May try to make one more trip over this fall before we shut down the kayaks for the year. Definitely recommend Lazy Oaks Resort!
Nothing fancy but a nice place to escape the heat of the desert and do some relaxing. The cabin we usually get is rustic but absolutely fine for what we are looking for. We're not looking for a posh resort. We want to relax in the shade, do some fishing and kick back. This place is perfect for that.
Great place for a laid back vacation. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Dog loved the area and so did we.
Cabin was perfect size for us. Clean and well maintained. Fully stocked. Rainbow lake was right out our front door. Staff was always available if needed. Lake is stocked we caught alot of catfish. This is a great family vacation.
Cozy cabins feel very homey. Several areas on premises to hang out & enjoy the view. There's also a small playground for kids. Cabins have large porches. We were able to enjoy one day outdoors then enjoyed the rest of our stay indoors due to rain, but did not feel claustrophobic. Wifi signal is good, smart TV is available, some games, very comfy leather couches.
